Wooden Picket Productions is involved in the creation of narrative films. In 2018 Electric was completed and screened at a number of international film festivals in the UK and Italy. The film starring Nicholas Hope (Bad Boy Bubby) and Socratis Otto (Wentworth) focuses on a unique text by Australian poet Francis Webb, it is the first in a cycle of films by Wooden Picket that look closely into the life of one of Australia's truly great, yet very underrated literary figures. Electric focuses on the invention of Electro Convulsive Therapy ( Shock Treatment) in Italy by an ethically troubled neuroscientist Ugo Cerletti. The next instalment of the Webb series is titled A Drum for Ben Boyd and will be in pre-production in 2021. It will look into the myths and conflicting narratives around early controversial Australian entrepreneur Ben Boyd.
